Google, Facebook and Twitter integration for EasySocial

Google, Facebook and Twitter integration for EasySocial

We're big fans of StackIdeas products around here, and have been very excited about their new social network suite, EasySocial. With our v5.2 release of JFBConnect, we added initial support for EasySocial and have been overwhelmed by the response from our users on the features available, and what they want to see next. We just created a new demo video and features page to show off our integration.

Interested in the 4 minute video tour or more information on current integration capabilities, like Facebook, Google and Twitter authentication in EasySocial as well as future plans? Then read on.

JFBConnect v5.2.1 Released

We just pushed out v5.2.1 of JFBConnect. This is a minor release, but has over a dozen fixes for issues that have cropped up since the v5.2.0 release, which included Joomla Twitter Authentication, EasySocial social network integration, new registration flows and other features

The biggest fix in this release is an update to the Autotune configuration tool, which broke due to changes that Facebook implemented on November 13th. Most other issues are cosmetic (alignment issues, Twitter's custom image option in the SCLogin module didn't work, etc). There are no security or major issues fixed in this release, but it's always recommended to upgrade to ensure you have the most solid version we offer.

Recurly and Joomla Integration

Recurly and Joomla Integration

We've been consulting on a website which integrates Recurly into Joomla and wanted to get feedback from our users on the possibilities. The website is for a Southwest Florida Home Watch service company. Recurly is a software-as-a-service subscription payments platform which specializes in monthly payments. They have a rich API which we did minor integration with, and now we're looking for feedback on whether this is something other Joomla users would be interested in using.

SourceCoast has Re-Launched

SourceCoast has Re-Launched

Father time has not treated the SourceCoast website well. Originally launched as a 'brochure-ware' site for pitching Joomla consulting services, it morphed into the home of the best extensions for Facebook integration with Joomla and LinkedIn integration with Joomla. Because of the large shift in focus, and the drastic shift in web technology and design, the old site had become a bit of a mess as content sprawled in different areas and wasn't as easy to find as we'd have liked.
